adl french class

Mme Tupaj's French students were invited to participate in a Zoom interview for French learners across the globe with a French musician named Eloïz.  They were able to ask her questions, that they had prepared in advance.  About 25 students in 6-8th grade came together to watch the interview.  They learned about her passion for country music, what some of her favorite artists and songs are, and how many guitars she has among many other things.

One of their questions was why she became a police officer (she wanted to help folks and help them to be safer) and then why she chose to become a reserve officer instead (to devote herself more fully to her music).

Mme Tupaj translated the conversation for her students so that they were able to follow the incredible conversation and learn together with hundreds of other students about this artist.  It was a wonderful time of hearing the French language together and delighting in what they could understand both with and without help.  Eloïz was very gracious and the students were so excited to be part of this experience.
