My name is Jeff Lester and this is my second year at Hiawatha School.  I am so excited to be a part of the Hiawatha Community!  I live in Monkton, VT with my wife, Anna, and have two teenage sons, ages 15 and 18.  I grew up in Northern New York and worked in Massachusetts for a few years before moving to Vermont 21 years ago.  In my spare time, I enjoy working with cattle and have a small hobby farm.  I also enjoy spending time with family, cooking, boating and Dad jokes.

I have shared with students that I absolutely love being a school counselor and encourage them to find things in life that they too enjoy!  My approach is student-centered and strength-based along with empathy and humor.
