My name is Colleen Stevens. I’ve been working at Hiawatha since 1995!  I started out as an assistant, taught first grade for one year, and have been a Kindergarten teacher for the majority of my career.  I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten kids.  As you can imagine, there is never a dull moment!  They keep me smiling for sure.  I love seeing them gain confidence, support one another, and show each other what it means to be a good friend.  I often say they put the KIND in KINDergarten!

My husband Casey and I have two daughters.  Ali is a junior in college and Emmie is a freshman in college.  We love going to Cape Cod and Maine as a family.  We LOVE to play games and we spend a lot of time at our camp in Hubbardton, VT.  When I have downtime, I am usually in the kitchen because I love to cook.
