Please complete this form to request a spot in an EWSD prekindergarten classroom for the 2024-2025 school year. Eligible students reside in Essex Junction, Essex Town, or Westford and are at least three years old on 9/1/24.
SCHOOL-BASED PRE-K PROGRAMS
This refers to prekindergarten classrooms in the District's public elementary schools. This includes Essex Elementary School, Hiawatha Elementary School, Summit Street School, and Westford School. All programs are half-day & four days/week, parents/guardians are responsible for transportation to and from school, and before and after-program care is not available through the school.
TIMELINE
EWSD begins collecting registration requests for the upcoming school year in January, and requests received in January and February are entered into a random drawing lottery held in March. An enrollment waiting list is developed during the lottery process, and registration requests received from March onward are added to the waiting list.
