Westford School recently held its 12th annual science fair in the gymnasium for grades K-6. Over 150 students contributed their ideas and hard work to the event. Elementary grade classes presented science topic displays on a variety of areas ranging from building structures to the study of space. In grades 3-6, students created individual efforts over six weeks. Their projects were entered into either a “presentation” or “competitive” category. Competitive entries were judged with medals given for 1st - 3rd place.
The Westford Robotics Group also contributed to our event with demonstrations of the projects they study, build, and refine. Students recognized for their science efforts this year included:
3rd Grade: Oliver, Nella, Peyton
4th Grade: Solveig, Emma, Evelyn, Jonah, Zoey
5/6th Grade: Amelia, Zoey, Kathryn, Whitney
