The Heavenly Food Pantry, located at the First Congregational Church on Main Street in Essex Junction, will be open to families residing in Essex, Essex Junction, and Westford on Monday, August 12, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. As usual, there are no income requirements to visit the food pantry and a variety of food is available to everyone; however, additional food is provided by the USDA to eligible once a month to families who fall below federally mandated guidelines. Families not able to attend the pantry may call the Church office at 878-5745 Ext. 102 between 9-12 p.m. to leave contact information so arrangements for delivery can be made. The next food pantry distribution will occur on Thursday, August 22 from 3-6 p.m.

The Essex Westford School District is seeking full-time Mainstream Instructional Assistants in grades K-8, beginning in the 24/25 school year. In this role, you get to assist and supervise students instructionally, behaviorally, and physically in the general mainstream program. The ADL Rock Band Showcase will be held on Tuesday, May 14 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Double E Performance Center. Get ready to rock at an all-star performance of the more than two dozen 6-8th grade participants in the ADL Rock Band. Tickets are $8 for adults, and free for students 17 and under. All proceeds support ADL band programs.

EHS Theater students invite you to join a character tea party on Saturday, May 18 at 10 a.m. in the Essex High School Cafeteria. Come enjoy tea and treats with the cast of Anastasia! Tickets are $8.
