Health and Human Services
Health and Human Services is a program designed to teach a variety of program based skills. Students will study child development, human anatomy and emergency medicine geared toward the Childhood Education, Cosmetology and Medical programs. From creating a book for kids, to building a skeleton, making homemade skin care products, and obtaining First Aid and CPR certification, students will develop the positive relationships and communication skills needed to join a workforce of people who enjoy helping others.

Entrance Prerequisites
Applicants must have a 9th grade transcipt that shows an award of five full credits including:
1 Math
1 English
1 Social Studies
1 Science
1 Elective
Curriculum Components
Sophomores select one of the five curricular areas to focus on throughout the year. All Pre-Tech programs are representative of all the programs offered at CTE.
