The Essex High School Makerspace is a unique area of the library where students, faculty, and staff can collaborate and craft using high and low-tech materials. We encourage creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. Our Makerspace is a community where individuals take ownership of their learning and find new pathways to learn from others. The Essex High School Makerspace is a space for everyone. We believe in supporting artists, makers, and patron expression while providing a safe space for students to develop as creators. The library works hard to offer a variety of resources that foster growth for adept artists and makers, or provide new opportunities for curious individuals.
