For the second straight year, the EWSD has partnered with YouthTruth on a climate survey that will be taking place during the month of April.
Looking at the unique perspectives of our students (grades 3-12), families, and staff, will provide us with crucial feedback and fuel inclusive improvements and experiences that will benefit everyone connected to our schools. The survey will help inform decisions based on what we learn, as we hope to see a happier, healthier, school system on the path to higher academic achievement for all.
This short, anonymous, web-based survey will provide opinions from all of our stakeholders and we will share what we learn and how we plan to use the information collected.
The results will help us provide a more tailored and effective approach to how the District operates and what we need to improve upon, while also establishing a benchmark for how we compare to not only other local districts but districts of similar size and make-up across the country.
You can view a list of the questions that the students will be asked here. We also understand that not all families will want to take part and, with that, we are offering an option for your student to opt-out. If you wish to do so, please fill out this short form.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,
Beth Cobb EWSD
