EHS student, Emily Stevens, was selected to receive the Past Commanders Scholarship at American Legion Post 91 - Colchester. This scholarship was awarded in the amount of $1,000.
The decision to select Stevens was based on her outstanding academic achievements and strong involvement in school and community activities.
The award is intended to assist the recipient and their family with expenses commonly not covered by traditional financial assistance.
Stevens will be attending the University of Hartford for their Biomedical Engineering program.
