District Operations coordinates key business services such as child nutrition, student transportation, facility management, safety and emergency preparedness, accounting and finance, budgeting, and human resources. Many of the district’s essential services, not directly involving instruction and student support services, fall under the oversight of District Operations.

We serve and support 1,000+ dedicated district employees, maintain and improve nearly 1 million square feet of building space, manage and optimize over 10,000 network devices and connectivity for thousands of users, plan and serve 700,000+ student meals, and steward and safeguard over $100 million dollars of budget capacity. Increasing the impact, efficiency, and effectiveness of the second-largest school district in Vermont is something we are passionate about.
