Our District, established in 2017, serves approximately 4,000 preschool through 12th-grade students across three communities: Essex Town, City of Essex Junction, and Westford.

Parents, staff members, students, and the entire community work together to provide quality programs to help every child become successful.

Residents new to the district will be assigned a school based on their home address. If you need more information on the schools in your community, please contact (802) 857-2000, and Rebecca Dwyer can assist you. Please have your address ready. 

• Essex Town* residents will attend

  • Essex Elementary School (K-2)

  • Founders Memorial School (3-5)

  • Essex Middle School (6-8)
    

• City of Essex Junction residents will attend

  • Summit Street or

    Hiawatha Elementary (K-3) 

  • Thomas Fleming School (4-5)

  • Albert D. Lawton Intermediate School (6-8) 
    

• Westford residents will attend Westford School (K-8)

  • Westford is served by bus transportation.
    

• All students attend Essex High School (some attend Center for Technology, Essex) in grades 9-12.  

  • Bus service to EHS and CTE varies and depends on town of origin.
