*Powerschool will be offline and unavailable during the following period (July 3-7):

July 3 -- to 'flip' the system and move all students to the new School Year 

July 4-5 (weekend) -- technically available, but not supported over the holiday

July 6-7 -- migrating the system over to a new hosted environment

Essex Westford School District is currently using a program called PowerSchool to manage and house student data.

At Essex High School, Essex Middle School, Westford School grades 5-8, and Albert D. Lawton Intermediate School, PowerSchool offers parents real-time access to grades, attendance, homework assignments, and other class information. You can even email teachers or ask for automatic updates on your student’s progress and view the school bulletin. 

If you have an Essex High School student and do not have a parent portal account, please contact Allison Short, Data Systems Implementation Specialist at 802-857-7123 and we will gladly provide you with information to access the portal.

n the K-8 schools, PowerSchool is still used to house student data, and PowerSchool is linked to the messaging systems for email, phone calls, and SMS text messaging, as well as the EWSD app, which allows us to contact you in mass messages and personal phone calls. 

Moving or Changed Phone Numbers? If you have any concerns about your student's information or contact information being outdated or inaccurate in this system, please contact your child's school directly.
