CTE student, Griffin Smith, is a second-year automotive student who recently was awarded the Golden Wrench Award by the Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts (VAE). This year, he participated in three co-ops: Classic Bike Experience, Cyclewise, and Almartin Volvo. The award includes a $500 scholarship for post-secondary education and over $700 worth of tools. Griffin demonstrates dedication to his education.
The Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts (VAE) is an antique and classic car club based in Vermont. It was organized in 1953 and has since been dedicated to the preservation, protection, promotion, and appreciation of automobile history and technology.
