CTE students at SkillsUSA

Congratulations to CTE’s Julia Morton who took home first-place honors with a gold medal in Dental Assisting at the National SkillsUSA Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. CTE sent 13 students to the annual conference to compete, which was held June 24-29, and had a total of six students place in the top 10 in the nation in their respective categories.

Students competed in the following: 3-D Visualization and Animation, Interactive Application and Video Game Development, Web Design, Advertising Design, Architectural Drafting, Nail Care, Cosmetology, and Dental Assisting. Also, two students from Pretech 1 and Engineering 2 went as state advisors and took part in a week-long delegate session.
