Essex Middle School Physical Education teacher, Matt Bristol, was recently awarded as the Vermont recipient of First Push Syndicate’s Get On Board Gear Grant.
First Push Syndicate is a program that creates opportunities for students to learn how to skateboard in a fun and safe environment with a proven curriculum through physical education classes. The Get On Board program partners with physical education teachers to facilitate their own skateboarding curriculum. The Get On Board Gear Grant supplies the recipient with brand-new skateboarding gear!
EMS students will use the new skateboarding equipment in their upcoming physical education classes!
